1”Styrofoam Brand foam sheets are most commonly
used for
insulation on the outside of foundations or exterior
walls. The 1” STYROFOAM™ insulation has an insulation
value of R-5 and has a compression strength of 25 psi @
10% deformation. It is tough enough to use below grade
without being damaged when back filling a foundation. It
is also used in conjunction with EIFS finish products when
a stucco exterior is desired.
